I can say our facility has been using Epic and Dragon and honestly, if anybody did a QA on some of these dictators they would fail miserably. Had one doc who never even looked at her note while dictating, apparently, because nothing made sense. ESL so yeah, it was a mess. They told her she couldn't use it and had to use us. Yay, for us.....They always get in a huff about JACHO (did I spell that right). Don't ya think if they checked any of these documents they'd be, uh, not happy? Hospitals can pick and chose which charts they want to give to them (at least they did) so they made the charts perfect. What a crap of crap. Meanwhile, Dragon has overtaken EditScript and Nuance has put all their eggs in Dragon and EditScript updates/issues get the back burner, and it is getting burned.
