I can understand, to a point, them wanting to make sure we make good use of our time, but the incessant monitoring is going way overboard. I am here to make money, not play around, and I do not need to be monitored.
The only way to cut down on inactive time is to sign out whenever you are not in an active job in Fluency, and if you are in a middle of a job and get interrupted, just keep hitting the foot pedal periodically until you can get back to the job.
I have days where I have 2-hour stretches with no interruptions and then days with lots of interruptions, and I am signing in and out every few minutes.
