On one hand, bad mistake looking at those. Sure to bring down one's mood or, as you found out, turn one's stomach. Looking at my paystubs, the line counts were so much better than what I can do now on the Enterprise system; poor audio does not help.
On the other hand, I have old paystubs in my job-search folder as motivation to get out of this "career." It will be terrifying to change after 20+ years, but kind of exciting, too.
