As far as I know, there isn't a pay scale so to speak. I've heard of tier one's being started as low as 3 cpl (gasp) in some cases, but some are at 4 cpl. Tier 2's are generally at 4-5, 5 being the highest I believe. It varies according to how hard your HDSM is willing to fight for you in many instances (speaking from experience).
