In my many years of doing medical transcription from home, it doesn't surprise me you didn't get an email. I find there is very little communication from the supervisors. Common courtesy is long gone, BUT if you don't get a hold of them, they are on your case! In this case if there wasn't an out of office response telling you who to contact I would have just forgot about it.
