Those posts were not off-topic, but they might have appeared so if you did not understand them.
You have to know what something should have been in order to recognize that it's incorrect. If you know what it should have been, it isn't a problem?
When I first began coding, I saw transcriptionist errors all over the place. Spelling, punctuation, poor wording, formatting, incorrect words and numbers -- everything. After a while I realized that those things did not matter to what I was doing.
