I remember when they announced their position that we should all support the offshoring MTs and welcome them into the fold, and that if we didn't we were unprofessional. That is when I decided to drop my membership. I am not normally one who wouldn't support ANY new MTs but it wasn't hard to see where that was headed, the potential damage it could do not only to quality and patient care but to our paychecks. I was shocked when they adopted the position they did. And it has actually turned out much, much worse than I ever dreamed it would be then.
