FN - MT/ME Posted: Apr 7th, 2016 - 9:59 am In Reply to: Questions about FutureNet, California - BurnedTooOften
There is virtually no transcription work these days. The SR work is sporadic with just a couple of accounts that appear to have work available, but not 24/7. The remainder of the work is slim per account.
The platforms were designed by FN, work with Word. Productivity is more based on how well the speech handles the account and dictators. IMO, not all that well. Only one manager truly knows all aspects of the business and she also handles QA (not the supervisor). The head QA person understands what the MTs/MEs situation is. Accounts have been lost. New accounts have not been gained.
The work team has decreased by 2/3 over the past few years. This is a much smaller company than when they originally started (acquired from Medquist, acquired from YOG). The company is more about technology services than transcription/SR.
