Not defending them. If you work over 40 hours weekly (in some states over 8 hours in a 24-hour period) they MUST pay you OT, even if they give you extra PTO.
Thats the law. We are NOT exempt - which means they must pay us OT. People who are exempt get compensation hours for OT - not extra pay.
Non-exempt have to be paid OT.
