I lost two computers to trying to keep working through the storms. The power usually doesn't go out completely, more like a "surge" where the lights dim and come back constantly every time it storms just enough to knock the computer, alarm clock, and a few other things off. It's the same for all the neighbors in the area. We're last in line for help from the power company.
