may be using "satellite" internet, which is not reliable, particularly in bad weather. If that is the case, you had better check into internet service through someone else. Power outages do not happen all that frequently and if that is the excuse you are using, I can understand why they would be getting frustrated with your not being available when they need you to be. good luck to you.
