If you're looking for non-biased info, go to that Jobs for Pre-Grad coders group. Everyone is helpful and could care less where you get/got your education. And there are lots of current CS students rather than those who went there years ago.

Just to update on IOD - not, it's not an apprenticeship but the majority of those who are chosen for the CDP are CS students and the majority who pass are CS students - the ones that don't make it to employment tend to be from other schools. The $10/hr is just for the training program. After you pass that you get an automatic bump in salary. When you can code at 95% accuracy [usually takes only a couple of weeks after CDP graduation], you get $20 or $22/hr and a yearly raise after that. Opportunities to advance to Level 2 or Level 3 coder or even to become an auditor - all remotely. There have been a few students who didn't graduate from the CDP but they still took and passed their CCS w/o going through the full program - of course you'd only know that if you talked to them or they posted elsewhere. . . and they typically don't post here.

Several IOD CDP students and grads are on that board too. Get your info from people who actually know what they are talking about.

Since Pam at the other facebook coding group has decided to smack down the CS haters for creating so much negativity on her page, I guess this place is their only refuge now.
