There should be a standard report style, end of story. The style guides that have come out over the years are a joke. There's no foundation for any of it, because it changes every few years. Furthermore, if someone in a facility somewhere doesn't like the way a certain piece of formatting, then the rules just change. It's a ridiculous way to run a business.
The MT industry needs standardization. It needs leadership with backbone.
