...being the greedy, money-grubers that they are...surprised they would want to comply with anything kind of laws that are fair to the employee.
For example, they recently were forced to give all CA employees paid sick time (not much but still) and pay for internet. I know they cannot like that at all. They also have to pay OT for more than 8 hours in a DAY. This does explain why FTers in my group are never offered OT, only PTers.
