I get that about their EMR not working well with Word. In my case, when it is pasted into the EMR, everything is double-spaced. And I cannot use Word auto numbering because it does not convert in the EMR. But the office deals with that (so far) and has not asked me to work directly in their EMR or even manually change the spacing to single - they do it I guess. I would lose access to many of the complicated Word macros I have made to speed up the work if I had to work in their EMR. Our way of doing work is morphing.
