Well, my company told us the results of the audit and what would be happening. They said for wage and compensation purposes, we had to be treated as employees and receive prevailing wages and benefits. As a result, many people were laid off (who worked "here and there"). The changes didn't happen all at once but did start with record keeping on our part, as required by law, and we started having a minimum LPH requirement.
