I only average in the tier 6 (150-170 lph). I re-read every single report. I do run out of work but always manage to meet my minimum hours per week, only once had to use a small amount of PTO.
I DO WORK ON WEEKENDS, and at night, and early in the morning. Once in a great while I have worked from 6 am to 3 am the next morning. I work whenever my doctors on my accounts send work,(holidays, nights, mornings, weekends) so if you want a set schedule and knowing when you are going to work, ambulatory may not be for you. Every singe MT situation is different, impossible really to compare notes.
At this point, I am so very happy to still have my accounts that I am familiar with and am willing to work any time, day, night, weekend, holiday, to keep my accounts.
