That is a typical "job placement" policy for a lot of matchbook schools. We were talking about placement in a training program. It is a program where the company take a very few graduates and puts them into a training program of some unspecified length at low pay. When they "finish" that, they are either let go or offered a job at a rate that still doesn't seem as much as you could get elsewhere. If the grad refuses the job or does not stay two years, they have to pay back $15,000 for the "training" the company provided.
