meatal or medial - tracy

Posted: Nov 16, 2009

They seem to both make sense, which would you go with?

Nasoendoscopy is performed which demonstrates scarring of the left middle turbinate to the [medial or meatal] wall of the maxillary sinus.

I'd say medial wall, with turbinate, usual say middle meatus. - n/m

meatal or medial - 1mt

I would say medial since it's referring to the "wall" of the sinus. I don't think meatal would make sense. Meatal means referring to the meatus or opening.
