OMG - I'm sick to death of this place. I just checked my score for May - 98%. 10 days of A, 5 days C - no B's (NEVER have a "B" - it's just A or C - weird)

Marked off for leaving off "an" for 1 thing. So......what happens if I can't stay at 99%-100%???? I'm not new at this, but I sure am struggling with it.

Will they fire me if I don't stay 99% or above? I don't have a backup plan yet so really need to keep this job for now.

Then again, fire me. Can't be any worse than this crap.

Well, I am fairly new to Nuance, but I was offered no type of bonus or incentive whatsoever. My guess is that they will probably be doing away with it, especially for new hires. If you are already eligible for it, maybe you can be grandfathererd in and still receive it, but they way they do things, I wouldn't count on it for much longer!

When I hired, they hyped up this incentive plan. You have to be 99% or something with QA and do a bunch of lines and some other crap - I did not qualify for months so I've lost track of the details. BUT if you do not qualify 1 time, you cannot be elligible for 3 fricken months!!!! What a load of BS. I qualified 2 weeks ago. My incentive pay was $38. Big whoop.

So they don't offer incentive pay anymore??? Hmmmmm............

becoming known as among quality control as someone who will COURTEOUSLY, PROFESSIONALLY, and REASONABLY require verification of all points taken. I promise, they will become as careful with you as you need them to be.

I totally agree. I always get the incentive pay, not always a whole lot but I don't work full time. It does no good to complain if you don't challenge your errors, unless they are errors you have made and then you have no recourse but to type a quality document!

you're not producing enough work of high enough quality to qualify. Plenty of us are. That means you are not because you're NOT VERY GOOD AT YOUR JOB. People reading your statements know that because you can't make even the lowest tier of incentive pay. Many of us have worked long and hard to become good at our jobs. Why haven't you?

So--simple version: Stop WTHg around here and start working at becoming a better MT/ME.

Above all, stop waiting for someone else to take care of you. It is NOT going to happen.

My, what a nasty person you are to post such comments. If people want to vent on this forum, that is their right, just as it is your right to post snotty replies, and my right to comment on your snotty posts. I have not commented on this thread previously, but find your superiority posts to your fellow MTs sickening, particulary during this week, MT Week. Are you the same person that posts all over the forum telling people to get a different job? Hard to tell since you don't sign your posts.

And before you comment on my skills, I always receive a bonus, even since Nuance took over with their new bonus structure. You cannot compare one MT to another. We all don't have equal accounts with equal dictators and account specs. Maybe some people luck out with many "Normals" and easy reports. Maybe some don't. Maybe some are just superMTs. Whatever. Get a grip, please. We're in this together, unless you are what is known as an internet forum troll, your posts speak volumes about you.

if others, like you and me, are qualifying for incentive pay, then why aren't MT2 and Anon? They insist that it is ALL the company's fault, the incentive plan is phony, that it's impossible.

People who agree with that patently phony delusion do them harm. Stop offering them cheap and easy sympathy that costs you nothing. Their problems are REAL but could be at least improved if they faced up to them.

Hey guys..have a question. This quarter is over this week and with the new grading system they have implemented for post-audits my QA score is quite bad at about 96% to 97%. I have never had a low score like this ever in my career and have always been between 98.5% to 99%. Have any of you experienced a low final score for a quarter before and if you have what happened to you? Did they have QA work with you or was it like instant termination. Really look into your FIESA because I could not figure out why my score was falling over the last two weeks or so. I got to looking and it is not even me. I have been being charged with errors and graded on another person's mistake. I was very worried and could not figure out what was going on. Is it CHAD score - or CHADS score? On search I find CHAD, CHADS, and CHADS2. He is not saying a "2" at all, and with him saying "score" right after "chad," I don't know if there should be an 's' on CHAD or not. Just received a job offer as an IC...the pay is pretty low at 0.575 cpl (increasing to 0.6 once off QA). Will probably accept this job as a 2nd part-time job...have another paying 0.07 cpl, but the owner doesn't pay on time and doesn't respond to my e-mails about it, either. Has anyone ever heard of having to pay $10 a month to the company for use of their server in order to download .wav files though? That seemed a little odd to me.
