What the heck? New service area for SA5-6? - Want it done quickly!

What? Anyone else? I have to copy my dictionary and expansions. Cannot call support for this. Have to do it on your own. Want it done in a couple of days.

They give you an option to go to a special webinar for dates Januar 20, 21 and 25th?

is not difficult, although there is a long list of steps. It took me maybe 10 minutes to do it, and I did it off the clock. Just went through all of this in the north region a few weeks ago.

Since you did this already in a different region, I have to ask this. When you get into your docqmanage and check your backlogs, do just the accounts you type in your BOB only show up?

Right now I get to see 100's of accounts MQ does when I get into the backlog. I was told it could change where you only see your BOB backlog, is that true?

I am able to see about 80 accounts all in the north region - and not just my BOB--nm

How do you copy your dictionary? - In the dark

Is that the same as expansions or is it what you put into the spell check dictionary? I did not see anything about copying dictionary in instructions.

Blame your CCM...I got my info 7-10 days ago - L&L

Did you get the directions for copying everything...takes less than 10 min. You should know how to back up expansion file anway; my CCMs always made sure we knew how to do it.

Just a heads up if you have Windows Vista - as far as copying expansions

The instructions they give don't work on Vista. I e-mailed support and got separate instructions. I have no idea if I did it right.

By the way, what's the effect on us of combining the service areas? Nobody seems to be able to answer that. AND why was it done in the first place?

DQS does not save expansions to the new service area folder until the transition actually takes place. Any new expansions you add between the time you copy your expansions and the time the transition goes live will not carry over. If you have added any expansions before the transition you need to copy them again at the end of your last shift in the old service area or they will be lost.

WHAT THE HECK!!!! I am working on a different account and NOT MY BOB which seems to be permenantly for the last few days. My BOB has been low, but there was plenty of work yesterday and this morning on MY BOB and yet I am on a different BOB? To top it all, I see others working on MY ACCOUNTS!!!!! DANG IT!!!! on Chartnet, which is what we were all fired from. Amy and Dawn have some nerve to post a job ad right after firing a bunch of people. BE WARNED! Do NOT work for this fly by night company. You will be shorted on your paychecks or not receive them at all and you'll end up with your ID disabled with NO notice. Okay - I know it is the singular (Latin version) of nares, but I've never in my entire MT career seen it used. Is this a new thing now? So I get this report, a LONG REPORT. I type it, I download it, and it is sent off and I get the next job. I start typing away and in 2 minutes I get this error message stating you will lose this file or something and boom, everything goes away and I am out of the system. I am supposed to be typing during my shift. My gosh! I am getting sentences in ASR that the dictator did not dictate and he is an excellent dictator. Then I get no words that the dictator did dictate. I have been changing whole sentences because of crappy words which dictator did not dictate.
