TTD new job ad. What the heck? They just let 16 of us go - and now they are hiring sm

on Chartnet, which is what we were all fired from. Amy and Dawn have some nerve to post a job ad right after firing a bunch of people.
BE WARNED! Do NOT work for this fly by night company. You will be shorted on your paychecks or not receive them at all and you'll end up with your ID disabled with NO notice.
This happened in March when 31 people were let go and again this week where 16 people were let go all from Chartnet. So, they're doing the same thing YET AGAIN and they'll screw over even more people. But, they're rats on a sinking ship because they're going to run out of people who are willing to work for them.
Keep in mind that we were not trained, we did not get any QA feedback, we did not breach their miserable little contract, we just got the boot.
I PROMISE, you do NOT want to work for this company. If you do, it's your own fault and you would deserve every bit that would be coming to you. Do NOT jump on board their SINKING SHIP!

I smell another class action brewing here!!! get a backbone and contact the other attorney in the other case! stop these people! please. They only do it because they are getting away with it!

I believe he is in Illinois, but he is accepting lawsuits against other companies, as well, and any other employees from Transcend who want to add themselves to the original lawsuit. He requires written documentation of your grievances. saved emails, contracts, perhaps even taped telephone conversations.
good luck if you try! Many of these places need to be brought to court for their actions and practices!

Where do we go from here when we need to work and have done this job for 40 years? Smart newbies---don't say 'just quit.' Don't show illiteracy...experienced enough of that. I have learned wisdom.

[ In Reply To ..]If you notice on the hiring every other week or every month some companies have turnover and look to replace. Same thing happened to me with Breitner. I was not paid. I had to get after them, and then they sent me an old check... be careful of this kind of practice. They will hire you, get rid of you and if you don't complain they get free work.

After reading the previous posts, I'm rather concerned now about TTD. I'm researching as much as possible. I have a job that's fine, but I'd like to get out of weekends...

[ In Reply To ..]enough for you, but I can also add that the dictators on EditScript are horrible, mostly HEAVY ESL. Keep in mind that there are SIGNIFICANT pay issues, many layoffs. The owner has a pattern of doing this over and over again. Please don't think that you would be any different than any of us who were terminated unjustly. Somehow, since March of this year, I highly doubt 47 people had quality issues. Our contracts also said nothing of a specific number of hours or lines we had to generate and that was another so called reason Amy and Dawn said so many were let go. I'm owed 3 paychecks now. Ask yourself how you would react if you haven't been paid for 3 paydays. Please, please, please read all the posts about TTD. Check the archives here, go to Google and enter The Transcription Doctors or TTD and see everything so many poor MTs and QAs have had to endure. It's a sad tale, indeed. I wish you the best in your decision.
How about we all send responses to some of these ads by these MTSOs - IAMT

Fill in reason why you would never work for them - like "Shame on you for trying to bring down an industry filled with trained professionals" or "I heard you cheat MTs out of their paychecks" or "Sorry, my bad, didn't notice that you pay 3 CPL" or "How do you people sleep at night?" Keep them busy wasting their time for a change.

Since then, I have sent many emails to MTSOs, especially those hiring "ICs", mostly for 8 cents a line, and then having absolutely illegal requirements. In the view of the the IRS and labor department, these small and medium-size MTSOs are small potatoes, but one of these days I hope, if there are enough lawsuits and complaints, things will get better for all the wonderful MTs out there. I am going to start emiling hospitals, private practices, surgical clinics, etc.
They advertise every 5 or 10 days for years now. - Nothing new really.

So I get this report, a LONG REPORT. I type it, I download it, and it is sent off and I get the next job. I start typing away and in 2 minutes I get this error message stating you will lose this file or something and boom, everything goes away and I am out of the system. I am supposed to be typing during my shift. My gosh! I am getting sentences in ASR that the dictator did not dictate and he is an excellent dictator. Then I get no words that the dictator did dictate. I have been changing whole sentences because of crappy words which dictator did not dictate.
