What is all this talk about using F11 all of a sudden? - MT

I used it ONCE and got an e mail from my CCM to PROVE in Remedy and cc her where it needed to be straight typed. I was told even if I could, to NEVER EVER use it again. She meant it.

So why do I see several threads and suggestions here about people using F11 a lot or suggesting we use it all the time? I used it ONCE and got called down. The ONLY reason I was excused was I put in Remedy the job number and a good reason. However, I was WARNED STRONGLY to NEVER use it again.

I assume if I want my job to listen. So why then are people suggesting we F11 reports to give ourselves a raise??? I don't get it. A job paying editing wage is better than no job at all, or on the street..

If you want to accept lousy ASR wages, that is certainly up to you. A job paying editing wage is not better than no job in my opinion. If your CCM told you to jump off a bridge, would you? Frankly, I was looking for a job when I got this one and won't work for their ASR wages. Enjoy your lousy paycheck, I enjoy my decent one.

This company has no qualms about canning any boat rockers. They first audit them like crazy and then fire them. And why not? They have thousands of Indians who will work cheaper. If they don't want to hire an Indian, they just pluck one of the newbies out of school who would kill to get any job. Those MEs planning to use F11 to get a raise are nowhere near as important as they think they are.

they are bullying you. Apparently the ones that are using the F11 often are quite valuable because they are still here. I have told them to fire me cause I'm not doing lousy ASR and am still here. I guess you really don't know how many companies work. They bully workers and the ones who won't stand up for themselves get walked on. Don't let them walk on you. I guess some have backbone and some don't. I do know how important I am because I am still here.

absolutely have to. They are desperate for MTs. They are calling back former employees, they take Newbies and as an editor I can vouch that even the horrible MTs are still with us.

Totally agree about the bullying. If you let them, they will say anything - it takes to get what they want. Often not true. L

"mandatory." You signed a contract. You have a schedule. They can scream Mandatory all they want and some will believe them and do their bidding. But stand up for yourself, and you will be master of your domain.

They are not going to say, you used F11 once, you are fired. - They will give many warnings first.

If we're not meant to use it, why not just take it away? That doesn't make any sense. It's like my father in law saying you're not supposed to use the garbage disposal. So why have one?

It all depends on your CCM. Can have a reasonable one or - CCM Nazi (like the soup nazi) No F11 for you

Not sure if I did something or not, but all of the sudden my ASR headings are not like they have been. The blue lines are gone and the next heading is directly below the text of the previous. I think this was how it was when a new version came out, but I was able to "fix" it to the old way. Is any of this making sense? Also my Google, RxList and the rest of those sites you can access on the DQS page are off center. ...

Why would one by one doctors who I have listened to for years suddenly have changes in the quality of their voice files? They were clear as a bell and now muffled or with static. Let's face it, striking will do no good. Complaining about off-shoring has done no good, unless that will cease at a national level for all industries. Some dictators really like talking into that dictaphone and telling stories (literally novels) about their patients... but , the more these guys talk (blab, rather) - the more money I get! SOOOOOO, why dont we all just keep the audio running as we research, go to the bathroom, etc. Just make a note of where you are in the audio, go do your thing, come back and finish up.
