Question about North Region work load - recent, now former MQMT

I quit MQ a few months ago. I loved my account and miss it. I am wondering if a certain North region is low on work too, specifically the one whose CCM lives in the same region as most of the accounts.

The large teaching hospital always was backlogged, with lots and lots of work. But I won't bother to reapply if the work is low.

Have no idea where CCM lives, but work has been very low in the North - sad to say

I think that goes for most of the regions though... I have done my primary once in the past 6 days, I get mostly Helper Pool work.

Hoping it is just a dry spell, but my heart tells me otherwise.

There was no work in north yesterday - Level 3 MT.

I have never seen it this bad in the north, and used to always have work on Sundays. My CCM is also harder to contact, no doubt under more demands from her boss.

NJA from 4:30 a.m. Tonight reports begin so CCM immediately calls OT and extra time. So that means NJA in early a.m. and she does live in the same area as accounts.

Sigh. I was afraid of that. I am sorry for all of you/us. Used to be we had 500-1000 jobs in the queue every morning - but not out of TAT, just lots of volume.

Looks like low work is the name of the game. I had 2 jobs for a while, then worked picked up significantly for several months at new gig and I let MQ go.

Now I am just plain afraid to keep only 1 MT job. But I will look elsewhere.

I'm in that region, and I'm getting helper accounts on second shift! Every now and then the work load will surge a bit, but it clears out quickly. That large teaching hospital certainly seems a lot less busy than one would think.

and my supervisor's BOB has been pretty much empty for really the last month or more. I have had maybe 10 jobs of my primary, secondary and so on accounts that Im familiar with for at least 2 weeks. When I do get jobs from these accounts a lot of them have been hard to hear (background noise and such), some of the ASR reports have been horrible with a lot of added words and whole sentences left out. Ever since this merge, my primary has been out of work, hardly ever happened before. Mine is out of work because they're getting mine because their's is out of work and viice versa. Everything was fine before this merge, but you know if something is working at MQ, they'll screw it up. It's pretty much like the old cesspool again. Always work Saturday morning, rarely have NJA but beginning to think it's going to be a regular thing now. This is my 3rd NJA this week. I feel sorry for those that get NJA every day. I can feel it creeping up on me slowly. I hope those of you who have NJA have applied for unemployment. On your average day, 5000! Now, 70. I get that its a holiday, but I have run out for 3 weeks now. TSM said they over-hired and work went to India.. well, then get rid of the new hires already. This is ridiculous. Why would they hire more when they planned to ship more work overseas? Is this to train the new hires becuase they make so much less than some of us who have been here awhile? At this point, I dont believe there will be pay cuts, I think they will just starve out the ones making a high ...

North region went from 4 accounts, to being tried on this POD Pilot Program and put on at least 10 more accounts, with a few having several divisions. After 1st week, workload fell way behind, over 1400 reports by this past Friday. Around 4 p.m. Friday, we were offered OT plus an extra $10/h for Fri, Sat & Sun, but have to work at least 3 hours OT each day. They are just not delegating the work adequately. This is my biggest pet peeve of all time. There will be several thousand jobs in my region and my accounts run out...and then I sit...and wait...and nothing. They say change your hours, well guess what? I already work mostly 2nd shift. I tried to get DocQScribe to load from the DocQManage page for over an hour and finally had to send in a ticket. Is anyone else having this kind of trouble with the system. It showed a green light on DEP. This is getting rediculous. I could not work my scheduled shift on Sunday because there were no jobs available (but incentive stayed in place). Finally quit. Except for leaving MM I have never felt such a load taken off my shoulders. I am going to a hospital system where historically they do not treat people like robots, or slaves. I was going to try to hang on here, by hermiting (do my job and not look at e mails, etc) but decided to try to get out and with a lot of job hunting it worked. I still cannot believe how much pressure has lifted. Oddly I no longer feel depressed. I guess now I know what was causing my sadness... I am not say ...

Always the same old song and dance. The subject of MTs needing more pay per line comes up, and what does the speaker do? Redirect the focus on all the added "upgrades" to their software they plan to buy (probably for hundreds of thousands of dollars) to "help us be more productive". Got news for them. You can only go SO fast. There IS a limit. And after all the emphasis on accountability and accuracy, do they not see that speed just increases errors ...
