Time Saver problem - MDI/Transcend MT

I cannot get past entering my In and Out times on the time sheet. I get that far and pre-save it but then I cannot get Pay Code to open and also cannot put in my total hours for the day. I spent 30 minutes last night, deleting and starting over again. I am following the instructions step by step, but no luck.

I emailed the adphelp and they will probably have an answer but in the meantime I was just wondering if anyone else was having problems like this.

The total hours will calculate themselves when you do a "Save" at the bottom. To get the Pay Code option to work, you have to change the Function to typed lines or edited lines and then it will let you enter a Pay Code.

still doesn't save the work - hello?

I followed everything step by step, but once I hit the "final" save button, it all disappears and says "This employee does not have time card transactions for the selected time period" - anyone else getting this message - no reply from help desk:(

Are you pre-saving it first? That is the only thing I can think of that may be causing it all to disappear. Also, I made a mistake once and clicked on the blue curved arrow instead of the little icon that looks like a floppy disk. That blue arrow is to "undo action", so it will erase everything you put in. Hope these suggestions help. I got my help here because the adphelp did not help me at all. Good thing we have this board! :)

I am having a different problem, I cannot get past the first step of signing into Timesaver with user name and password. Emailed the help desk twice today and still have not heard anything from them, not that I have that MANY hours to enter.

I printed out the attachment and had to look at it more carefully than I expected to need to do. Remember the password is case sensitive. You do have to pre-save (to left of entries) before the final save (below). You do the hours as a separate entry from the line count. The line count entry must have the client # changed to your accounts name, (erase, then using its first letters of the account). Then you must use the drop down menu on the RES function to put in your code for typed lines or edited lines etc. If you want to e/m me and if I can help you, I will.

It has been inconvenient, and maybe a bit confusing at times, to check my time card hours for my shift as, because of my time zone, part of my hours show up on the next day because I work 2nd shift. I wonder if I will get overtime for yesterday, even though I did not work overtime. Ever since they have changed Schedule Source and now it has a display called today's activity with "actuals" hours, this has not matched the hours shown with the time clock punches and is less than the hours according to the clock punch. Does anyone care to share that if you are hired at optiscript part time will they let you change to full time easily? I know they are a small company and do not over hire so I do not know how easily this could be done. My company was honest and upfront when we started using ChartNet. They told us that once you enter a report for VR, the time clock does not actually start for 60 seconds.
