I'm an IC and get rude messages from QA? - Seriously?

I don't even really work "for" these people and I get emails that are not only unprofessional but extremely rude. So after working for 12 years with this company we get a new QA and she thinks she can blast me because I've been in the hospital and didn't work for a week? Yes, I'm very mad.

I am not at all surprised at your comment. Some people in QA have a God complex and lack the necessary people-skills needed to communicate with the MTs without making them feel like idiots.

I have had the fortune of working with a few great QA gals who really know their stuff, but don't take themselves too seriously and aren't condescending. Sadly, people like that are few and far in between.

I'm a QA and I'm horrified that you got blasted for being in the hospital.

Many feel they have to make others feel bad so that they feel good. We all make mistakes and beat ourselves up horribly as it is. Don't need any help, just need to learn. Horrible to have to learn the hard way. Never want to make someone feel bad as the next time around it just might be my mistake! Golden Rule applies here, but too many don't follow it. Takes a better person to care about others.

Hi- at least you heard from someone. I lost my beloved husband on May 9th and have never heard a word from anyone at the "big" company I work for. My CCM knew it...I am very hurt and now a little angry. I was on vacation the week he passed away.

Why has everyone gotten so rude. You apply for jobs and you can sense the "Tude" through the E-mails - if they are kind enough to send you one! 35+ years experience and they act like you are just off the boat to Transcription Land. I have been seeing my PA every three months right after my cardiologist for congestive heart failure. He prescribes my meds and communicates with my cardiologist during my checkup. He's a pretty nice guy who really cares about his patients, and his nurses are awesome. However, his receptionist is rude and unprofessiional.
