Inscribe application process is EXHAUSTING! - Jen

Posted: Jun 25, 2013

Wow, maybe it's just because I've been doing radiology for so long but just looking at the instructions for their testing and application process is EXHAUSTING! Is it just me? Anyone know how they are to work for? Is it worth all the pain? :)

I was hired by them twice and both times the same thing. I did all the paperwork and sent it in, waited nearly 2 weeks to hear about setup, which never happened. Emailed contact person who didn't know. Received email from manager wondering why I wasn't working (should have been on the schedule weeks previous). Very scatterbrained and nobody knows what the other is doing.

Well, can only speak for radiology - anon75

the radiology end has their ducks in a row. if you can work weekends you can get moved to the top of their waiting list pronto. VERY click-ish. First 3 months is a 'trial' and you pay dues those months...limited amount of money made, covering here, there, and everywhere for others, baby sitting accounts to midnight for facilities that close at 5pm but need someone there 'just in case' some rad can't sleep and opts to work.

After 3 months you get moved to the 'in' crowd and they let you fly and work as much as you want on as many accounts as you want. Also you could be picked for a higher up position. You jump accounts constantly if one starts to slip tat, and the instant messaging is ridiculous, one room for each account and each with group and private areas, and another room containing all rad accounts and rad MTs for those who passed the 3 month trial, or accepted to in crowd.

It's a wild and crazy system of operations and people are talking constantly in those IM rooms. A lot of chaos and distractions.

One of their tests is a peronsality test and you can tell by the way it repeats certain questions what they are looking for so easy to know how to answer regardless of if you 'strongly agree, kinda agree, agree, kinda disagree, disagree, or strongly disagree.'

they have work. give you Dragon speech software free to train and keep, use on any job after 3 months.

You are right about those rooms being non stop. I don't know how anybody can follow everything that goes on and get anything done.

Patient First Transcription - Finished The Application Process

Does anyone know how long it might take to hear back from Patient First regarding my application and typing test? I tested last week, haven't heard back and there is no way to follow up with anyone directly. When I log on to the career site, it just says that I have nothing further to do as I have already finished the application process. ...

Re: InScribe Testing/Application Lately? It Seems SM
Jan 09, 2014

as though they have a very complicated application process.  Just reading the instructions had me cross-eyed.  Also, in addition to the written test, application, they also  WANT 6 VOICE FILES TRANSCRIBED for their testing??  This seems a bit excessive to me... esp. since they have not given any details re. their pay rate, etc. ...

ESL Is Exhausting
Mar 16, 2011

Whew, ESL can be so dang exhausting when you have to do umpteen reports.  In my case, the English as far as understanding it isn't the worst part.  It's the fact that they speak incorrect English and constantly use past tense with present tense, and singular with plural.  Constantly having to listen for those mistakes and go back and forth correcting and/or adding and/or removing all these little words like is/are, on/in, was/were, and how about leaving words completely ...

So What Is The Process If You Get A Critical Err
Jun 24, 2011

GD SOB! Have been passing all the audits with flying colors (99% or better), even the audit earlier this week.  but then I got an email today of a report with critical errors.  Real bad doctor who mumbles and changes his mind in midsentence but doesn't say 'scratch that' or 'correction' or anything like that.  sheesh.  so do they automatically put you on disciplinary action or cut your pay for one bad report?  or do i hope that on my next ...

Very Long Hiring Process.
Apr 03, 2012

I was just hired by Nuance and have received hiring paper work.  Looks like I will not even start working until maybe end of April.  It seems that everything here takes forever.  But at least we have a job here, for whatever it is worth.  So what if you are really depending on this income to pay your bills?  Then what???  I guess these big companies are not too worried about that huh??? ...

About MIST Testing Process.
Sep 18, 2012

Just an FYI.  I applied for a QA Editor position, which pays a paltry 2 cpl. I figured it would be a little extra money in pocket. Got a call from a gal who wanted me to test. Ok, I said. We scheduled it and another gal sent me an email with instructions to call in and enter a code along with instructions to read. I read the instructions, called the number, entered the code.  Got the gal on the line and she walked me through downloading the files, which any boob could do. So, I figured ...

Does The Testing Process Just Irritate Anyone Besides Me?
Apr 18, 2013

I have gotten to where if I apply for a job and it refers me right over to the testing process, I don't even take the test, I just back out of the application and don't bother.  I know I lose jobs, due to this, but that process is too irritating to me.  If I apply for a job and I receive a reply stating that they are interested in me and would like for me to test, THEN I don't mind testing.  I just cannot see randomly taking a test, typing 7 or 8 reports these days ...

Patient First MTs - What Was Your Hiring Process Like?
Jul 22, 2013

I completed the application process and the online testing about 4 weeks ago and, while the transcription test was very challenging, I felt I did well.  I know there's probably no point in sending an email to ask about the "status" of my application and test because they are quite capable of contacting me if they wanted to. Do they bother to contact applicants that didn't pass the test? (an email I'd hate to get, but at least there would be closure)   I've read the ...
