At MM, mid management was let go after thngs were - running smoothly. SM

you might have been told she quit, more likely she was given option of doing MT or quitting. At MM, not a one mid management took the MT option, they all just slowly faded away.

To clarify, that is mid management of a bought - out MTSO. nm

The main HR people as far as I know are still here? I know that probably once Nuance finalizes things they may be gone (as happened with other companies). The only person I was aware of who recently quit/was fired was a scheduler and it wasn't the same day? What ad on what board? I already know some bad changes are probably coming my way and am planning my escape, just wondered what you were talking about?

DM, and it was the same day. She was the trainer and had a degree...she was not just a nobody...probably over qualified. She was in charge of all of the teachings of new employees, so it really does not look good to new people coming on board. There was an email stating she was no longer working for the company. The ad on the board is just general for MTs. Just is scary that you know people all do have reasons for leaving. Too many secrets, but then again, sometimes we don't believe the truth when it is spoken either. Don't know what nor who to believe.

Medical Transcription just keeps going downhill. They expect more and pay less. I work for Accentus now and actually love my account and got my pay up to 5 cents for SR and 9 cents for transcription, but I have to work 10 hours a day just to make ends meet. They pay based on how many lines you type per hour so it can change every pay period. It's better than what I had at Transcend. I have a DigiTel dictation system, and it has simply shut off without warning lately, which has happened several times. I reboot frequently, and there is plenty of room on the computer. I have a 4-line system, which is fairly new. I had to replace the last one, which was malfunctioning after just a few months. This seems to be software-related however. Anyone care to shed some light on how things are at Transolutions these days? Is there plenty of work? Thinking about this company and would love to hear current input from employees. I have read the archives and saw that QA can be tough and M-Modal isn't the greatest software.
