It is what it is and Nuance has a strangle hold on MT jobs it seems. Oh there are a few others out there, but they are either with M-Modal (Aquity) or Keystrokes and lucky if you even get paid there.
I see so many posts here from MTs stating all of their years of experience and quality work. They don't care! They just want a body on their computer day in and day out, working for slave wages and QA will rip you apart no matter how hard you try.
Sorry about your health issues and if you must work at home, then I would look for another job to work at home. They do exist, but this field is so dead it is beyond reproach and you will not find anything decent out there, no matter what some of these posts say about how "nice" their company is or how much they make.
