Some MTs Do Not Understand - If they have not done QA Posted: Mar 22nd, 2016 - 4:13 pm In Reply to: MTs are "little queenies"?? - Pfffft
I think MTs need to be on the QA end, and then decide what it's like to be a QA person. As stated, QA people are held to a higher standard and are expected to be more professional with the MT, than the MT is to the QA person.
Can I seriously sugar coat something like castration instead of catheterization? Of course, a key-in error an happen to ANYONE, but this person was consistently doing things like that. And QA isn't supposed to get frustrated? That's what we're talking about here, where QA is NOT ALLOWED to tell the person to shape up. And, their supervisors were not on the QA side because they had to appease their MTs, no matter what---after all, they're the worker bees. This person was on full QA for 3 years, and I don't understand WHY she was still an MT. That just chews up valuable time where a QA person could have been working with a newbie who cared by giving some constructive help.
