Has anyone with more than 30+ years of being a veteran MT ever been fired for typing or selecting the wrong DOS in any report? Has anyone worked with a QA editor that didn't have enough experience to know the BOS? I am in total shock and was wondering if I'm the only one that has experienced this in all my years of being an old timer MT. Just read another interesting article in that it is estimated that it will take 2-3 newbie MTs to replace 1 veteran MT. Something all these corporate MTSOs better start thinking about. Once they run all the veteran MTs off, find demand is shifting back to onshore transcription, then what are they going to do. A company located in Georgia has set new standards for their new employees. They had recently restructured their company by laying off about 15 MT's.
