as in the Guyon's canal related to carpal tunnel syndrome? I have a hand surgeon that refers to everything in the hand as "distribution."

saying globus distribution meaning in a sphere shape or circle. Hyperpigmentation is in reference to a darkened color so could be referring to the shape of the "hyperpigmentation." ??

You're welcome. Never stop learning. You're more marketable that way. I've done clinics for almost 20 years, but very little hospital. I'm not very marketable anymore.
I can't believe that...sm - GT

with 20 years experience in this business, (regardless of where/how it came about) only a fool would refuse to hire someone with your experience, IMO. : )

Thank you. That's what I thought. They want the ones who can jump right in. Clinics are different. All the ones I have worked for have their own style. I love them because they go faster and I have made $30-$40 an hour for the past 17+ years but the work is dwindling. Now I'm finding out how little I know about the BOS, which should be called the Book of Shi__. I don't agree with some of the things in it. I've been told I won't get a job until I know this "Bible".
either as a rollover to another retirement plan or a payout? I am curious about how long this process takes, and whether there is much red tape.
I know I can call the 401K custodian and hear what SHOULD happen, but I am more interested in hearing from someone who's already done it if there were any holdups. Thank you in advance for any replies, and have a great day! ...
i am extremely confused with what my job has now done with workflow. i went from having 10-12 accounts to this new situation where they have assigned ALL clinic/psych accounts to ALL employees. productively, this does not make sense to me as not only do i have to learn 40 or so new accounts, but the few accounts that did remain that i have been doing for a while are now being distributed to the pool for every employee to transcrib. does this make sense to anyone out there? ...

Musculoskeletal examination demonstrates the patient to be neurosensory intact in the bilateral upper and lower extremities. In her right upper extremity she has sensation intact over the s/l "police" or "pleese" patch in the C4 distribution, as well as the remainder of the upper extremity with C5-T1 distributions.

I'm just wondering when was the last time any of us took a moment and researched outside of this forum to get a better idea of what is happening with the MT industry?
Someone had asked last week for a listing of the largest? MTSOs. I posted regarding the KLAS MTSO study June 2008, but I wonder just how many MTs actually read it and absorbed the information that was made available to them within the free study.

Did anyone else get the message from Massanotti? What do you think? Also, I went to medquist.com and was struck by the fact that they are marketing front-end dictation systems with SpeechQ, thereby eliminating transcriptionists altogether! I am not surprised, any way to get us out of the picture will make them more money. It just seems odd that they would tell us on one hand that they value us and then on the other try to get rid of us altogether.... ...

below who seem to adore MM so much (although a couple of you I don't really believe work for MM or are even MTs for that matter), what would be the tipping point for you to say enough is enough and start to hate on MM as much as some of us? If they went down to say a penny a line with 100% accuracy would you still love it as much? Just curious. ...

This is a message to the cherry pickers on my new account. Well, you got greedy, skimmed so many of the money-making jobs that it became apparent to all of us including management.
Now, you've lost your jobs. But during the time that you took part in your malfeasance I have nearly lost my home and had my car repossessed. Each work day was literally a nightmare well I struggled with one crappy job after another without relief. My first pay chec ...
