Message from PC - New metrics 99.65%

Yep, read it and weep!

They might as well say 100%. - mom2huskies

They want 100% yet they do not want to do anything to improve sound quality, ASR, pay or educate providers on how to dictate.

I cannot do anything more than I am doing - sm

and I won't, so fire me. I no longer care. Matter of fact, I think I will job hunting. Although the thought of U/E for the summer is actually pretty appealing

If the error point system made any sense, that wouldn't be unrealistic, but - CoonHound

of course not. The only thing this company knows how to REALLY well is drive their employees crazy!!

The new Shaw is just trying to make a name for himself - just saying

Between the PODs and the mandatory overtime why not add new metrics too? When he realizes that he cannot have quality and quantity he will scale back one or the other. They already scaled back to 99.5 last year instead of 99.7.

Only a new CEO would think that increasing the work day plus increasing quality metrics would equal success. We have survived other CEOs ridiculous ideas they think will get them on the map and we can survive this one too.

He could really make a name for himself - pay raise

Boldly go where no CEO has gone before - give the workers a pay increase that they have not had in 10 years.

Just A Message To MTs.
Dec 01, 2009

I'm just wondering when was the last time any of us took a moment and researched outside of this forum to get a better idea of what is happening with the MT industry?  Someone had asked last week for a listing of the largest? There's all the commotion about  ...

Did anyone else get the message from Massanotti?  What do you think?  Also, I went to medquist.com and was struck by the fact that they are marketing front-end dictation systems with SpeechQ, thereby eliminating transcriptionists altogether!  I am not surprised, any way to get us out of the picture will make them more money.  It just seems odd that they would tell us on one hand that they value us and then on the other try to get rid of us altogether.... ...
