Weird printer - Alice

I just sent a document to my Hewlett Packard printer and set it for 3 copies. The first copy was fine. The second and third copies looked like a new language. On further inspection, it was obvious that each letter of the alphabet and number was offset by one. In other words, a became b, b became c, 1 became 2, etc. When I sent a request to print just one more copy at a time, it printed just fine. This is undoubtedly the strangest thing that I've ever had happen with a printer.
Does anyone have any idea why this happens and what to do about it?
I will definitely contact the manufacturer and ask about this. In the meantime, I thought I'd share here.

[ In Reply To ..]I have had my HP printer for several years and never had that happen. Sure, the alignment has gone off so the text is skewed, but never what you are experiencing. Actually, I wonder it is a software issue. May you just need an updated driver? Anyway, I hope you can get it fixed.

[ In Reply To ..]Well, for me anyway. I had two different models of HP printers about 10 years ago. Got rid of them both because of crazy things happening. There were times when it would print in a different font and font size than what was in the document. I never figured it out. I got no help from the company when I called them several times. I just got tired of wasting money on ink, so I switched over to a Canon and haven't had any issues so far. I'm thinking that the post that said it might be a software issue is probably correct, but I can't be 100% certain.

I have a Dell Insprion 1525 and HP Laserjet 1020. The HP is not listed in the Dell's list of printers to connect to. I can't find the disk that came with the printer or the instruction booklet. Very Weird .wav Playback Problem

I have some .wav files I need to load into Express Scribe for a potential placement with a company for school. They will not play in windows media player, or Express Scribe. In ES it says "Opening audio file failed." After this I even downloaded other .wav files for school and they work and play just fine. Weird Command When Editing?

I have noticed this a few times now. About halfway into a report, when I hit ctrl+shift+m to jump to where the text is, the cursor goes to the very end of the document. Whenever I hit ctrl+shift+m after that, it goes directly to the end, never to where the text/audio is synched. Is there a command that makes this happen that I am doing accidentally?
