Having trouble with InScribe server/program again - Elssa

Having trouble with InScribe's server/program again. Seems to happen more often on weekends. I just did a very long report, and it won't seem to upload (not showing up in my Transcription Log). Why does this happen? It's very upsetting. Is there anything I can do about it? It's definitely not my computer's server/browser, as everything else is working for me. Thanks.

It could be that they are going up and down during the day on Saturday as well. There was a recent new release done that turned out to have some issues, so I think they are having to rework it.

Well, I got through to the Emdat emergency service yesterday a little after 6:00 p.m., and he said he knew of no other people having problems, but he went into my computer and Inscribe and got it going somehow.. Said there was some kind of "server interruption".
Now, today, having problems again. The job seems to load, but it won't play. Instead of listing the time length of job on top, it just says 0:00, and nothing will get it to play. This has happened before to me. How about you? Looks like I'll have to call their emergency service again. I don't know what the real problem is, but it's very frustrating.

Just received a job offer as an IC...the pay is pretty low at 0.575 cpl (increasing to 0.6 once off QA). Will probably accept this job as a 2nd part-time job...have another paying 0.07 cpl, but the owner doesn't pay on time and doesn't respond to my e-mails about it, either. Has anyone ever heard of having to pay $10 a month to the company for use of their server in order to download .wav files though? That seemed a little odd to me. Can someone please tell me what the problem is when every hospital dictation now sounds extremely muffled with a humming sound in the background.? My laptop crashed today and is now in the shop. I am trying to use our home desktop but can't get the files to completely download. I called customer service, but since I am using our home computer, they won't help, only told me to make sure that any firewalls are turned off before installing DS. All of the sudden, it is hung on the download screen. The box popped up saying "downloading job #xxxxxxxx. Getting job details." And then the log out button is below that. Explorer 8 on Medquist computer? They sent me a new computer because the fan went out in the old one and the new one had Explorer 8 on it.
