Would like to hear from anyone who took the transcription test for the above company in regard to how you actually can play the sound files. My foot pedal would not work with their voice files. I would click on the start button and the dictation would start and just keep going. I could not pause, stop it, or anything else insofar as controlling it so I could actually type anything. I e-mailed them with questions but never heard anything back until hours later in the day and they said I had to use my mouse to control it??????? What the heck! Never heard of that before. So I go back and try to do that but it said I had completed the dictation part and I could no longer access the voice files. How are we supposed to test if they don't first give us instructions on how this works?????
I tested with them before Nuance - sm

bought them. I passed the test, but I think they saw that I was already with Nuance and never offered me a job because what would be the point? Anyway, I wouldn't waste my time there. I don't remember having a bad experience testing with them or during any of the correspondence back and forth, but since they are now owned by Nuance you can expect their pay scales to change to fit Nuance's soon.
I would like to know the answer to OP question - if anyone knows SM

This is what holds me back from testing, problems like this.

As instructed, I downloaded the Express Scribe and the software for the footpedal and it worked no problem except for sound quality not so good. I couldn't slow down without it distorting. But I made it through.

This was for the oncology position they just advertised for which is done on the Inscribe Emdat platform and the voice files were on Adobe which gave you a blank screen to type in and the 2 voice files with a start button you clicked on. Once you clicked on the start button, the dictation began. The first file was for a doc who didn't breathe. One of those really fast talkers. There was no way to pause or adjust anything, so you just had to try to type the whole thing nonstop. I was unable to do that. Later they told me you were supposed to use your mouse to control the speaker. I wonder why they couldn't have told me that to begin with. I really wanted the chance to do that test because there aren't very many ads for doing just oncology work.

Accentus/Ambulatory Care Feb 07, 2013I was asked to take the transcription test for the above company, but can't figure out how to control the speed or turn the sound down. My foot pedal doesn't work with this one. Does anyone know how to do this? I have sent them an email asking, but guess they don't have the time to answer. Would appreciate any help given. Thx.

Accentus - Ambulatory Side Questions Apr 27, 2012I see on this site and another that when listing jobs for Accentus, they list benefits for full time on the acute care side but nothing on the ambulatory side. It is my understanding that on what is formerly known as Zylomed, you are IC for a couple of months. After that, are there benefits and if so, are they the same for that given to the acute care section?
Thank you. ...
What Is The Difference Between Ambulatory And Acute Care Aug 03, 2014On the website they say 1+ years of experience for Acute Care but 5+ years of experience for Ambulatory. I would have thought Acute Care would be more difficult.....???

Thanks for any replies!

Accentus Acute Care Mar 23, 2013Does anyone know why Accentus Acute Care seems to always have the same job ad hiring for acute care MTs that pays a sign-on bonus? It seems as though either they never fill these positions or they are so difficult nobody stays. I would be interested in applying, but the last time I tried to apply with them on the ambulatory side, I could not get the voice file to work. Is this even worth applying for? What is their cpl rate and do they pay for spaces? Thanks for any ...

Accentus Acute Care Or Brietner Transcription Apr 20, 2012So, I've been offered a job with both Accentus and Brietner Transcription. I have done my research on both companies, but really struggling to pick one. I really don't want to make the wrong decision. Seems from doing my homework, the potential to make more is at Accentus, but Brietner employees seem pretty happy there too. Can anyone shed any light on what it's like to work for either company? I would be very grateful!! ...
Another Sad Option For Medical Care Is Charity Care. Work With The People Nov 06, 2014...bills. Most Saint hospitals and others actually operate as non-profits, and for what they are screwing us over in taxes unpaid, they can afford to help out folks with their bills and still give their CEOs generous stock options and obscene salaries! But, you have to ask for this after your visit, treatment, x-ray, or ER visit. ASK for help if you need it. It is not our fault that suits are in charge of medical care in this country. ...

Anyone Here From Ambulatory Side? Jun 25, 2014I was just wondering if anyone posts here that work for the Nuance Ambulatory Care side of things. All I see here are what appears to be posts from the acute care side and they are not very favorable. I will probably get hung on this board for saying this, but so far things are pretty good on this side of the fence. Same managers, same good accounts, plenty of work. Flexible schedule. Not crazy about all the logging in to everything (WorldClient, WebClock, Spark), b ...
Another Ambulatory Nuance MT Jul 19, 2014I have been reading the board down a ways, about the arguments and negative comments between acute care and ambulatory care sides of Nuance. I, too, work on the ambulatory care side and we were acquired by Nuance almost 2 years ago. Yes, we used to be Accentus and no, except for becoming employees and the things that go with that status, nothing else has changed. We work M-F, weekends if we want to. We do not work holidays and the TAT reflects that on our accounts when a ...

Nuance Ambulatory MTs & FIESA Oct 11, 2014I work with the ambulatory team (ortho clinic notes). I have 2 exclusive dictators and 2 that are shared with a couple other MTs. I was originally with On~Time Transcription. We were acquired by Accentus, and Accentus was acquired by Nuance a short time later. The Nuance acquisition took place in November 2012 I believe, and we were switched from IC to employees earlier this year in April.

As A Fairly New Ambulatory Employee (less Than 6 Mos) Dec 03, 2014I understand nothing of this. I don't understand FIESA because I was not under it. However, what I do understand is a cut in pay. Now I Understand Why Folks On Here Loved Ambulatory. Sm Oct 28, 2014Now I understand how there were glowing reports of being happy and making good money.
