... and still we know absolutely nothing about the "changes" taking place. What other industry could get away with doing something like this?

And bet there turns out being a delay or something - that drags it out even longer.

Unbelievable. They shouldn't have said anything until everything was ready to be rolled out at once. The only other phase should be the effective date. You failed big time here Nuance.

It will probably be announced sometime between now and - Christmas, taking effect on January 1st.

Even the day or general estimate of when they WILL be telling us any kind of information at all about anything. Silence. I am met with silence from everyone from the TLs to my TSM (her boss, the COM, is on PTO this week so she isn't answering emails period), to the people that sent the email. Nothing. No one wants to tell us anything at all, at least in my region.

To that end, I guess I will have to make decisions based on just the knowledge that I currently have, which to me is pay is changing, point blank and I kind of think if it was a for the good, they wouldn't be so quiet. Also, I know the work isn't there, so even if they tout that you can make all this money doing all this work all the time 24/7, we all know there are many OOW situations. The last thing I know for sure is that if this going to go into effect on or around 12/25, there is even less work for that week to 10 days to 2 week time period after Christmas, so even more time/money/production loss.

Those are the things I am currently basing my life decisions on because they refuse to say anything. Everyone holding their breath until 11/1, I'm not sure they are going to say anything then either.

Suggestion - if you don't have a plan B, - get busy ...

Just sayin' .... Personally I have reached a point where I won't mentally play their games any longer. I have been looking hard and have a few things in the works.

I am not one of the - "there will be no MT after blah-blah date", but I do think it is going to be an even worse working situation with the big MTSO in the future than it is now.

I think this 4 hour bit is just a way to send the work to India and pretend like the US can't do it in a "timely" fashion.

I deserve more. I am worth more, and I am totally stupid for having put up with it this long. Gettin' out as quick as I can.

I've updated my resume and am compiling a list of companies to send it to. Hopefully I can get into one of them and hopefully they'll be a whole lot better than NUisANCE and treat their employees with the dignity and respect they deserve.

With the change taking effect the following pay-period.

Since November 1st falls on a Saturday, it's probably not likely they will tell everyone then. If they don't say anything by tomorrow, it may be safe to assume it's been postponed.

November 1st for 2nd part of this crap. Then on 12/25, the pay comp part will be released but "probably won't take affect until the first of next year."

I'm not holding my breath. If they screw us on base pay, I'm gone. I'm already checking out non-MT jobs.

WAIT, what is going on. At our meeting nothing was said about this, so I am really unsure as what is going on?? There is no way in He_l I can afford any more of a pay cut. I have been doing this for over 37 years...there are some days I do not even make state minimum.. in 80s and 90s I made GREAT money...hmm..someone tell what is going on??

every other report is tragic? Tonight I just want to quit, so depressing. I hate doing child death reports, alcohol-involved MVAs where someone dies, drug overdoses where the person dies, attempted suicide, severe brain damage/paralysis from fall, all in one shift, all young people!! Today I had a 35 minute report by one of the worst dictators. On top of that her phone line is really bad. I did the best I could and ended up sending the report to QA. QA was able to fill in about half of the blanks that I had. I ended up sending an e-mail to my supe to see if anything could be done about her phone line, and if she could please listen to the report. For some unknown reason my footpedal just decides to stop working this morning and I spend hours to get it going again. I finally get back into my groove, only to get a dictation that is 29 minutes long with only 4 minutes of actual dictating! I can never get ahead and get a decent line count anymore.
