OOW again at the start of my shift!! What the h@##@!

Does anyone know if you can collect partial unemployment without taking PTO? I have never collected but seriously thinking about it.

Another account isn't the problem. This OOW situation started about a month ago when the "Optimization team" decided to mess with our work pools. I already have 5 accounts and should not have to take on more just to get work every day!

For us MTs, especially with the rigid specs you have to comply with and the hypervigilant asinine FIESA.

I suspect this EPIC or something like that is taking our work away and, like the fantastic employers they are, Nuance tells us nothing.

I have noted a suspicious lack of reports to research from even though they are mentioned by other dictators. Where are they? I imagine they are being done by the more tech savvy (and usually unfortunately for us excellent) dictators and we are being left with the dregs. Hence we get bad dictators and less opportunity to research with absolutely no explanation.

It would be nice to get a heads up, but what do you expect?

I imagine spreading the work more thinly is because a lot of it is going over to EPIC or similar, but obviously we are being treated like mushrooms.

Anyone want to Fiesa management for their critical errors in over-staffing decisions that forces MTs to look for other jobs because of OOW situation.

Why don't they put new people on them? Why do some accounts seem to be perpetually having no one on them and seemingly only secondary or overflow accounts? It never used to be that way, and they usually seem like pretty bad accounts.

There is nothing more frustrating than when you know your primary is full of work and then you get a series of STATs from some dumb secondary account and realize someone else gets to do your familiar work and you are stuck typing the zombie account.

It's simply not fair. IMHO every account should be someone's primary and if someone has my primary as a secondary why are they getting the work and me stuck doing the garbage account I am unfamiliar with?

account specs are so complicated and lacking in basic information you will realy lose $$ on this plan of action. This is company wide, some sort of plan to avoid paying UE to those of us they manage to run off this way.

every other report is tragic? Tonight I just want to quit, so depressing. It seems that every dictator tonight has made some sort of mistake or said something that doesn't seem right (mg/mcg, right/left, dates, names, age, etc.) that required extra research through past reports (if your lucky they have some) to get correct information? Today I had a 35 minute report by one of the worst dictators. On top of that her phone line is really bad. I did the best I could and ended up sending the report to QA. QA was able to fill in about half of the blanks that I had. I ended up sending an e-mail to my supe to see if anything could be done about her phone line, and if she could please listen to the report. For some unknown reason my footpedal just decides to stop working this morning and I spend hours to get it going again. I finally get back into my groove, only to get a dictation that is 29 minutes long with only 4 minutes of actual dictating! I can never get ahead and get a decent line count anymore.
