your monitor and deck a dictator? I am getting the same 3 or 4 docs, over and over today. They are all your run-in-the-mill dictators, dictate too fast and slur a bit, but I can usually deal with them and it does not bother me much. Today, I don't know if it is me or them, but they are just TERRIBLE! They all seem to be slurring much worse than normal, talking even faster than usual through the entire document, and now they all seem to be yawning and they continue to dictate while they yawn! I do get that sometimes anyway but today it just seems to be REALLY, REALLY bad! Just super irritating! Anyone having this issue today? Maybe I just need some sleep, too, but I swear, it is like they all are dictating with hot mashed potatoes in their mouth while on speed!

OMG! That sounds to die for. I'm not much of a drinker - don't much like the taste - but this would taste delicious. I can almost taste it now. Didn't know there was such a thing as butterscotch schnapps. Bet that tastes good all by itself.

Maybe I am just paranoid from being home for far too long but I swear that MQ did something to the audio to make it garbly, slurry junk. I have never heard so much bad audio in the 8 years on this account!
I think they are going to fail our audits and have a reason to get rid of us...

I feel your pain today! Logged in an hour ago to start my shift and have had the same HORRIBLE ESL doc for EVERY report.

The reports are long and I've only been able to finish 2 of them and am working on the third now. It's killing me! He whispers, can barely speak English, and slurs his words something awful. I am ready to beat my head against the wall or get in my car and drive to where he is and hunt him down!!!!

I would strangle this female doc..I HAVE to have 99.7% accuracy and you have to dictate so freaking fast you cannot even give me the courtesy to complete a word much less a sentence..take your report full of blanks..Im done. I refuse to go into the repository and assume you are saying what is in there. Not gonna happen..And Ill keep sending them through until you figure out how to speak and give me some common courtesy. ...

I must have much smaller hands, because I cannot reach the keys in the manner described for the right hand. Unfortunately, I already use the other tips and use the right + left hand for shortcuts, and only thing that makes any difference is the quality of the output. I don't use the DQS expander. I thought they got rid of that position. Our performance coach became our compliance coach. I NEVER had line count issues before I was transferred to this group. My line count soars when I get jobs outside my usual accounts. I actually get better counts when I am in the cesspool. I haven't had an audit in at least a month. every other report is tragic? Tonight I just want to quit, so depressing. I hate doing child death reports, alcohol-involved MVAs where someone dies, drug overdoses where the person dies, attempted suicide, severe brain damage/paralysis from fall, all in one shift, all young people!! It seems that every dictator tonight has made some sort of mistake or said something that doesn't seem right (mg/mcg, right/left, dates, names, age, etc.) that required extra research through past reports (if your lucky they have some) to get correct information? Today I had a 35 minute report by one of the worst dictators. On top of that her phone line is really bad. I did the best I could and ended up sending the report to QA. QA was able to fill in about half of the blanks that I had. I ended up sending an e-mail to my supe to see if anything could be done about her phone line, and if she could please listen to the report. Back-to-back ESL who gets on late at night, dictates report after report after report, marks them all priority even though they may be for admissions/discharges from 2-3 months ago. For some unknown reason my footpedal just decides to stop working this morning and I spend hours to get it going again. I finally get back into my groove, only to get a dictation that is 29 minutes long with only 4 minutes of actual dictating! I can never get ahead and get a decent line count anymore.
