Got your attention! I know it is a pain in the rear to check Fiesa, but I was thinking we for the most part just sit back and let these nasty QAs attack us, lose us money in bonuses, make us feel worthless. It is like saying to an abuser "it is okay to hit me, go ahead and I will never say a thing." We need to fight back. We need to take the bad QAs to task and point out their own mistakes and stir things up for them and let them see how it feels. I have had many critical and major errors reversed. Make them feel bad about themselves. I think they feel mostly they will not be challenged.
I have to say there are some nice QAs I have come across who do score fairly, but there are a number I feel are just too nit-picky, so I am not out the get the many fair QAs out there, just the ones that seem downright nasty. All I want is fair.
Anyone up for the challenge even for a couple of weeks? See how many things we can get reversed and keep them on their toes. After all, according to Nuance it is our job to do this. Lets not sit back and take this abuse anymore from QA. I know it takes your own time, but I am tired of being apathetic and just meekly signing my initials in the box.

[ In Reply To ..]I check FIESA only in the morning before my shift. I have found many things that I have contested and gotten reversals for. This is something everyone should do! The QAs are not perfect either and they do need to be held accountable just as much as we are.

[ In Reply To ..]the platform I am on has no way of verifying if the mistake is legitimate. Is the age typed wrong because I failed to verify or because of some other factor? Then, my blood would get in a boil because having the age 1 year off on a middle aged person really is not a 3 point error, it is not critical.
If we are going to use the abuser analogy, the best thing to do is to leave one. I am working towards that goal as I have no hope that this abuser is interested in reform.

[ In Reply To ..]The only solution is to leave your abuser. Challenging them only makes them angry and vindictive. I challenged a QC error and 2 days later got 2 major errors. Just like clockwork, boom more errors. What's the point, why waste my time? I am investing my time in training for another career so I can leave this all behind me. I'm not wasting any more of my time or energy than I have to.

[ In Reply To ..]I go in once a month to check for reversible errors. If it is an error I feel I made, I let it go. Most of mine are just stupid typos, but the gestapo just loves to mark me down. I guess it makes her feel good. I'm about 50/50 on getting them reversed. I NEVER sign off on them and will NOT do so even though I have been told to do so many times. Oh well, so be it. FIESA gestapos are paid with the money they took from us. Let's see them do work and not get paid for it. I look forward to being bought out by Samsung, Apple or anyone for that matter. I just can't believe that any other international corporation would treat their people with such little respect.

Like one poster said, Fiesa has my morale in the toilet. Most days I feel physically ill before signing on for work and cannot concentrate because I just KNOW that QA is gonna find something wrong with what I did. Every day I get a CPSE email. I just dont care anymore. They do this intentionally to keep us from earning over minimum wage so they can give the CEO that big fat 37.1 mil paycheck to keep his mistress quiet and buy his wife a new Mercedes every year as well as live in his McMansion. What about the little people down here that GOT YOU THAT PAYCHECK?
To go from the wages of a skilled worker to that of an unskilled is a slap in the face. Its not like just anybody can walk in off the street and do our jobs. I figure if Im being paid unskilled pay, I will go work an unskilled job (convenience store, fast food) as at least I wont have the stress to deal with of doing something "wrong" or having to do work stuff on my own time.
I am training for a new career and cant wait to get away from this for good.

To sending in that 2 week notice. I have only had 3 short reports audited lastweek at less than 100 lines total (last week I had over 300 lines audited). Two reports were 100%. Okay, first quarter FIESA reviewed about 80 reports of mine and I actually got my incentive. Now for this quarter, I am wavering on not getting my incentive with a 98.88 and for the past few weeks they have not reviewed a single one of my reports. I smell something fishy. our post-audit reports are randomly pulled. If you score high enough to get the bonus, your reports are gone through by the hatchet queens in India until they can find a report they can "audit" to bring you below 99%. If you are kicked back to 98.99%, they still meet their contract requirements to the client, and Nuance does not have to pay you a bonus. ...

I almost always get my critical errors on one particular doctor who I think I understand and then it turns out I miss something. I think there is a way to do a report on critical errors and see if I can trend the dictator but I can't figure out how. Does anybody know? And before you tell me to ask my TSM I did but as usual never got an answer. ...

Much as I dislike FIESA and all this QA, what I really hate is finding out I've been typing something WRONG for 30 years. The only thing I can say for myself is some QA decades ago filled it in for me and I didn't look it up. Been typing Campo's fascia instead of Camper's fascia. Took a 1-point post-audit hit on it, too. Shakes me up, what else have I been doing wrong for 30 years? And will it knock me out of bonus territory next quarter... ...

I must admit, I never looked at FIESA, not only because it was depressing and humiliating, but its not the most user friendly site. My manager was constantly badgering me for not looking at it though and actually had me try to get on the other day when she called. How do other people get away with not looking at it? Just for "fun," I counted how many times I prevented a critical patient safety error today by catching the speaker saying the wrong age, gender, right vs. left, hyper versus hypo, you get the picture. I quit counting at 8. Never in my many years at Nuance have I made 8 CPSEs in 1 day. So are we getting credit for the good work we do? Not very likely. ...

I was having a good day, until I went into Fiesa...I have decided that one particular dictator--who speaks what he probably considers fluent English (He is American), is going to review for every report because he is the one I get poor scores on...
