* - It sucks at numbers (not that numbers are important on a legal medical document or mean life and death in dosing etc.) * - It puts diagnoses on paper that weren't even said! * - It takes a phone number (emergency contact for patient) and inserts 02/08/2014 07/04/2013 04/03/2014 05/05/2013 04/02/2014 (what the ????) * - You can't make any money * - It can't recognize the difference between ASSESSMENT: AND IMPRESSION: It doesn't matter, whichever they said, it will say the opposite and if you miss it, DING DING * - It sucks at numbering * - If the dictator says the word "next" or "secondly" it will automatically start numbering. I'd go on but I need to get back to my slave wages

That is why the same mistakes are being seen over and over and over again. "They" want us to tell "them" about the problems, but that is only for show. THEY ARE NO LONGER WORKING ON FIXING THE ENGINE. PERIOD!

[ In Reply To ..]Because VR is a joke (a total lie,) always was, always will be. All that was heard was less transcription cost. I am sure there was not a transcriptionist asked about VR or present when the demonstrations took place as questions would have been asked to show how unrealistic this concept was. Now if the doc is trained, dictates the report the way the facility wants it, then maybe, but docs don't even know they are on it, but the facility still wants that "perfectly formatted report" and since it is VR it should be easier, per them. Short reports with no formatting are not bad but when long reports that come in 1 paragraph, no formatting, it is insulting. The worst part, no one wants to listen to the reality of what a mess it is.

[ In Reply To ..]I was told to keep letting them know, but between fiddling around with the job ID numbers, having to log out, sending separate emails, then really hearing nothing, I figured it was just for show too.
You would think the engine would be smart enough to crunch the data and pick up on errors with its super brain, wouldn't you? It seems almost like they have now unprogrammed it to pick up consistent corrections made by us and correct itself.
I have heard people rave about how great the Dragon Naturally Speaking program is so why can't they at least give us the facility of whatever that has got?
The mind boggles and we are left with the unacceptable impression that they are almost consciously TRYING to make us go slower and make errors, all in the name of what, them getting to pay us even less?

Nothing like having a string of the worst VR out there, having to retype the entire dictation, but not get paid to type it up b/c "a few sentences did match"...a few sentences out of a 10 minute dictation each is not even a drop in the bucket. I love working for NOTHING. I am so sick of this company. ...

have nothing to do with difficulty, upload/download time, or any MT-related issues. The majority of you STILL DON'T GET IT. 6.1. is an enhancement for back-end editing. Back-end editing means more automatiion and need for fewer and fewer real live human MTs to do MQ work. So great, jump on the bandwagon to eliminate your jobs. It may be state to state also but let's say you had a religious reason for not working saturdays or sundays and they said to you "if you work sundays and saturdays you will have work" but you were not hired to work these dates as you stated when you were hired it was because of religious reasons, can you get unemployment? Here is an article that talks about 401K. Mmodal's 401K plan stinks. "The most common 401(k) employer match is now dollar-for-dollar for the first 6% of income that an employee defers." North region went from 4 accounts, to being tried on this POD Pilot Program and put on at least 10 more accounts, with a few having several divisions. After 1st week, workload fell way behind, over 1400 reports by this past Friday. I don't get the email with the FAQ's about 6.1 says that the new physician look up (that apparently they are getting a lot of complaints from MTs about) is because of a security issue with choosing the wrong doctor. Well, I could understand THAT, but I don't see how this new slower way makes any difference in that regard....you could still JUST as easily choose the wrong doctor this way too.
