since her baby slept through the night. She is refreshed and ready to go today. Apparently she does spend sleepness nights wondering how she'll pay her bills under this new exciting pay plan in addition to sleepless babies/kids. How insulting. Do they even think before they send these junk messages out ?

she went through her entire pregnancy unworried about how she would support her new little one or her out-of-pocket medical care costs. She probably had every test and type of visit recommended, unlike the rest of us, who have to weigh getting a breast ultrasound versus feeding my family for a week.

taking a pay cut, some probably huge. Seems that the senior management thinks they can just hire somebody right off the street for this work.

So, your TSM probably did take a pay cut. I've worked at other places where across the board the managers got a 10% cut or directions to the exit. Some left.

Paul Ricci needs a lot of cash both for himself and for this company because of the red ink he is causing all over the place.

The new exciting PTO I'm really looking forward, trying to guess how they are going to s**** us as royally on that as they did on pay.

I've thought of a lot of different ways they could, but none that would truly come with a tier and 10 levels as well as percentages and quotas and of course something that at least on paper looks like were are getting 'more' PTO and 'more' opportunities.

I wait with baited breath.

I agree. I lay awake worrying at night, so it would grind my shorts the wrong way as well. I don't know what's worse....something like that or the ones who, when you ask a question, have to answer every one with how hard they working, they don't get time off, and they had to check their e-mail while having a day off. Uh....really?!

I am grateful to have a job today. I am grateful that work is available on that job. I am grateful that it pays well. I am just grateful. When doing VR, which of course is 98% of the time, I keep my hands at the bottom of the keyboard, left hand near Cntl, right hand hovering over the arrow keys. Since there is a lot of deleting to do, you have to reach up to the top right corner of the laptop to press delete. Of course I always have to look to make sure I don't accidentally hit insert.
