I just read on MQ Central that as a part-timer you are eligible for "partial" benefits. I had asked on this board before if part-timers were eligible for health insurance and was told no. What does "partial" benefits mean exactly? I'd like to drop to part time but absolutely need to keep health insurance.

I was with another company that IMEDX took over last year. Now, like everyone else, my work at IMEDX is drying up. I have noticed over the past few weeks that the majority of transcriptionists wanted ads (not on here) are in-house only. I saw 11 job postings today looking for such and all were for in-house in different areas - and that's just today! One of the companies I have a contract with has lost an account in the past month due to their hiring in-house staff instead.

I have been noticing a trend lately here on the old board.
