These are transcriptionists that were pretty much forced to sign onto Nuance once they took over the transcription of their hospital. No option for UE or severance! After working for Nuance see how much their pay drops. Pretty disgusting, actually. We have all experienced it, but gradually for us, bit by bit, but these poor ladies got a huge dose all at once and went from making good money and good benefits to minimum wage. ...

Since those of us working for Nuance have not heard a damn thing, I'm wondering if anyone has tested and received an offer letter. If you have, would you be willing to share the rate they offered? I don't foresee them telling us anything before December, if then, since they said we'd know more about the compensation changes on Nov. 1 and nada! ...

I was told that the position would be acute care and on the Escription platform. Supposedly the majority of MTs on this account are making 10 cents a line. I have since been doing a lot of research and see a lot of posts about how you are unable to make any money with Nuance. I was with another company that IMEDX took over last year. Now, like everyone else, my work at IMEDX is drying up. When I used to get about 20,000 lines in a pay period, I'm now getting about 10,000 to 14,000. I have taken another MT position to try and supplement. I see some people are actually being laid off. That is unfair. They should just advertise under Nuance now. People might jump to the job thinking it is another company, and come to find out it is Nuance. This is false advertising. It is insulting to all of us with the way that MT pay has gone down the drain, it is frustrating and aggravating to look for a "decent" job these days, trying to work out which companies will treat you fairly, which ones lie about their platforms, work, etc., and not only do these companies not want to pay us what we are worth but now I see that MANY companies are requiring the MT to have or "be willing" to purchase hundreds of dollars worth of equipment.
