Glorious day, Glorious day! I am outta here. Can anyone who has also had the pleasure please tell me how to go about getting my 3 weeks of PTO owed to me and how long this process takes? Also returning my computer and regaining my deposit on that? FYI there are companies out there that do care....You just have to look.

I get that thought in my brain every time I get an email from my lead scolding us for doing it one way, knowing that our bonus really depends on what kind of mood the QCs are in....I have lost my "bonus" repeatedly over stupid sh%%$## that has nothing to do with patient care. [ In Reply To ..]I quit Nuance this week too, so sick of them! Maybe it's a domino effect and more and more of us are just not going to take it any more! There's only so much we can take of being used and abused. Gave it all I could and barely ever made more than minimum wage. They make it too hard to make a living. I have done this for 20 years and I guess that's all it's going to be...don't see this industry changing for the better any time soon what with Nuance buying up all the accounts. There has to be something better out there than this crap.

[ In Reply To ..]I don't miss it one bit, either. Pathetic when I looked at the want ads and saw starting wages for the local warehouses were $2 to $3/hour more than what I would average with Nuance. I had done transcription for 31 years - was embarrassed by what I was expected to put out on the "verbatim" account I was on. I'm not even sure I want to stay in transcription. But I take heart in the positive comments about some of the other transcription services and hope that they're big enough to stand up to Nuance, aka "Nuisance" as named by a friend/co-worker.

This has always bugged me. It looks better with P.R.N. (all caps) at the beginning of a sentence, instead of P.r.n. (just first letter cap'd). Also, P.O. or P.o. at the beginning of a sentence. 1. Does anybody know if there is a keyboard shortcut to get back to the beginning of the audio?
