Can we share the 'good' MT companies to work with please!?! - medT2B

I've been following the company and job seekers board for quite some time now, and seriously having a hard time staying positive/focused on finding a decent MT job! It seems that there are plenty of negative horror stories here (and definitely worth sharing that info to save other MTs the trouble of wasting our time!!) but I'd like to know about some of your experiences with good companies.

So I'm asking for some suggestions on your experiences (past or present) on MT companies that were decent to work with and worth mentioning! I think we can all use a little uplifting thread to showcase that there are decent MT companies out there. Thanks!!

There a few wonderful companies out there, unfortunately they are far and few between and seem to be disappearing but there are a few still out there.

I work for a company called ZyloMed out of Florida and I cannot say enough fantastic things about that company.

Everyone within the company has a very positive, professional and helpful attitude. After so many years of nightmare jobs with horrible companies ZyloMed is definitely a refreshing reminder that being an MT is a rewarding experience. I look forward to each workday and know that I am treated with respect and like a human being.

Over the last 20 years I have made friends with a few of my fellow transcriptionists who finally found their "home" as well with other wonderful companies.

This is probably not a popular thing to say on this board, but I have been with MQ for about a year and am very happy there. It's all a question of your expectations and obviously the account you're assigned to, your region, supervisors, etc. It's a company that, in my opinion, pays well, pays on time, and I very, very rarely run out of work (though again, it depends on your region; some places are better than others).

Are there truly any good companies out there??? I can't begin to tell you how many I have been through in the last couple of years. I have been working for an excellent company for seven years. Unfortunately, they were put out of business by a bunch of poachers from one of the national MTSOs. We were well paid and treated like gold. I'm certainly getting discouraged by reading more and more on this board. I used to work for MModal when it was Medquist and they seem just as bad on here. TTS has bad reviews. Seriously other than working at an office, which simply isn't feasible for me, are there any reputable, legit companies out there?
