sure... i need an email from the quality coach every day - to remind me to work my schedule.
Posted: Dec 10, 2013
How would I survive without this reminder? I cant believe I have lasted 18 years here without this?
Give me a flippin break.
Why on earth is your *Quality Coach* concerned about your schedule? - anon

Aren't work flow/schedules typically the TSMs responsibility? I would have to respond to her that if she had a problem with me working my schedule then she needs to discuss it with the person whose job it is to make sure I'm working it - my TSM.
apparently the coach now assists the abbreviation of the month - with their duties!

It seems the HDSM/TSM/CCM is too busy to send out the backlog email?? Good grief!

UPCHUCK. What idiot does not "remember" to work their shift. What/who did they hire a kid to send out emails, so unprofessional....and again that stupid little smiley face. Give us a break, we are sharp, we are smart, we are way more intelligent than given credit for, we do not need reminders to "remember", I bet that person has to remind herself to get out of bed every morning!! just to go to her new hourly job.
Remember when we used to get phone calls? - just saying

If you were late at all for your shift they had a call center I think in Atlanta that called your home phone to find out why you weren't working. The problem was they could not figure out time zones. I remember third shifters being angry that they called and woke up their kids and the MTs were already working!
Once again, it goes back to the respect thing. They don't respect us as working adults with any sort of work ethic and just assume we are all uneducated and lazy because we work from home.
Just got an email about getting a new quality coach. This, of course, answers my question of why no emails for the past week from her. I hope she didn't lose her job. She was a really good coach, the best one I've had in the last 7 years, and wasn't one who corrected little things like punctuation in audits or things that made no difference in the report integrity. She is one I will miss. I only hope the new one is also with a strong QA ...
I am so very discouraged by this company, the accounts I am on, etc. I have written the "quality coach" who has not yet responded to anything I've posted. Isn't that their job? ...
Just received an email from TSM. Team quality is 99.5% but individual MT quality is 99%, so it seems the 99.5% information being thrown around here relates to the whole team, not the individual MT. ...
Most of us are typing for many, many different hospitals. If you send out e-mails lumping all the hospitals together with helpful hints on what we are doing wrong and what we should be doing, where should we be filing these e-mails for future reference? If we take too long to try to find the info in your e-mails, that gets counted against us in the Inactivity Graft that we have to stare at each day. Unless you have a better suggestion, could you please simply split up ...
This is the 3rd one since being put in this pod. I liked the last one because she was laid back, calm, answered the actual question you asked and actually gave useful nonshaming advice. The first PC I had in this group was hyperactive, never could seem to understand or answer the question asked, always had something to say about absolute correctness, and never let you get a word in edgewise if you tried talking to her on the phone. We'll see about this one. She sounds like she might be ...
Doing an orthopod Dr. He says "At this point this is mostly (coach, codes, closed?) healing which is not going to show up on x-ray. This is a 7-year-old boy with a left clavicle fracture. Think it might be "closed". Can't find coach or codes. Any ideas if "closed" would be right? ...
I ran an error report for all reports, all accounts on my platform for this quarter, 10/1 - 10/18. So far the Quality Index is 84% vs Quality Score 99.18%. Didn't they advertise this new error scoring as working out in our favor? Doesn't look like it to me.
This is based on 2194 jobs and 105,358 lines audited on E5. I checked the box that says view all corrections on the correction report. ...
I thought they got rid of that position. Our performance coach became our compliance coach.
I NEVER had line count issues before I was transferred to this group. My line count soars when I get jobs outside my usual accounts. I actually get better counts when I am in the cesspool.
I haven't had an audit in at least a month. Guess I should go back to editing for speed instead of quality until they go back to quality coaches. I should probably quit looking up doctors and location ...
I am sure these are closely guarded as they would let MTs actually communicate with each other..and that would be a no no.. MTs might actually band together ...
... providing high quality care OR high-quality care.
I did it one way and the dictating NP says it should be the other way. I have to do it her way but I would appreciate hearing from some fellow MT professionals.
Thanks for any input.

slowly sinking here because my quality has always been 98-100 quality, years and years. Now, however, I am expected to maintain 99% quality, on a hideously difficult account, but I must also maintain my LPH.
In other words, I have to listen to reports on the fastest speed I can to get my LPH yet maintain some form of quality. The reports go to QA who in turn listen at the slowest possible speed to give errors for not including 'the' and mind you this cannot even be heard unless you ...
What is everyone's opinion about the new speech engine? I'm not talking about the user side....I mean the quality of it's speech recognition. I thought it was supposed to be so much better, but I'm finding it to be terrible. There are times when it leaves out 3 and 4 words and puts in words that are not even close (i.e., family history when the doc clearly says social history)! That, and the sound quality SUCKS!
Here's another example:
Dic ...
I'm trying to troubleshoot something. Does anyone else have sound-quality issues on DSG dictations? Just curious if I should seriously have this looked at on my end. It's not all reports, but enough so that I need to look into it one way or the other. If I'm the only one, I'll hire someone to look into this. I have no problems with audio otherwise, just work-wise. ...
I received a quality alert feedback that I had failed and wanted to know if anybody knew if this was an actual audit or what? And if so, has this happened to anyone and what happens? Thanks. ...
I work for MedQuist. Why is it some days I get pretty decent dictation with some bad ones mixed in there and then all of a sudden there will be days I have bad quality dictation all day? Anybody else? ...
Just wondering if anyone else has had this happen lately. I received a quality audit on 4/25 on my audit, which I passed at 98.3% (had one icky one in there). Then on 4/29 got another email of an audit of 5 reports, did not give a total score, but they were all pretty darn good (3 at 100%, 1 at 98, 1 at 98.75). Then on 4/30, another email, they checked 3 more reports (all those above 98% too). But what is going on, are they searching for something bad? Are they doin ...
