If your "boss" makes a suggestion that since you run out of work a lot and suggests maybe you need to move to a different shift but OBVIOUSLY that won't make a difference what is their next step? I've always made way over their line requirements and audit requirements. There just doesn't happen to be any work lately during my shift, or at least not much.

I won't change again because I have run out at all hours of the day and all days of the week since beginning of the year and even changed my schedule earlier in the year. I document everything for NJA. You can see the variety of times and days on your leave page (if you ask for excused absence-no pay) if I ever have to defend myself for unemployment. I imagine at some point they will let us go, but it hasn't happened yet and no one seems too worried about it.

The new CSM told me that if I continue to run out of work I would have to change my schedule and that "they" were tired of paying out for the 15 minute NJA tickets because "that gets expensive." Then I talk to my new QA person and she tells me that if there is work on any particular account and no one typing it, it will be sent to MTs out of work. In other words, if no one from my account works late at night, but work comes in, it will not be there for me in the morning if others are out of work. While I get this to a point, how in the world can anyone ever have set accounts and set schedules? I mean we all know that the dictation volumes are not for the most part that predictable. Im so over this company, 10+ years means nothing to them.
I'd say too tuff, if "they" are tired of paying for NJA time. - then bring the work home SM

It wouldn't be so expensive for "them" in that case and I'd flat out tell the CSM so.
The next step is to switch you to a different TSM - been there
[ In Reply To ..]When our accounts ended up in India last October they started shifting MTs around to different TSMs. Here was the problem - You had to work the schedule the new TSM wanted (your current schedule didn't matter) or they considered it job abandonment, you were terminated and you didn't get unemployment. No kidding. That is how they get around it. They will give you the choice of a horrible schedule or nothing. Plus there is no guarantee there is work anyway. Either way they win.
