try to get your old schedule back? My change was "forced" on me and I was wondering with the new grouping and such, if I should try to get my schedule back. It was kind of a bizzare change in that I already worked one weekend day and was told I needed to work the other weekend day instead, so now I dont even have 2 days off in a row...that could be remedied I am told, but switching my other day offf....that was optional and for now I said no.

Honestly, a forced schedule change would be my last straw. - nm

I would definitely reach out to your new manager and explain to her the situation that you recently were forced to change your schedule in order to fit into a new BoB and now that they're reorganizing, would she please consider your old schedule over your new one. And I would definitely mention that a large downfall to your new unwanted schedule is that your days off aren't consecutive.

I believe you'll have much better luck with this if you reach out to your new manager rather than waiting for a call. The early bird gets the worm and all that.

Right now, I imagine all the managers are completely overwhelmed with everything, but they'll be watching TAT and NJA, so if you can change your schedule sooner rather than later you'll have a better chance at having them approve it.

to stand up for yourself because they will walk all over you. Everywhere else I've worked, I've been able to work with them, change things up temporarily to help out, be flexible, pitch in... but here, it's just not like that. If you give an inch, they take a mile. It's really unfortunate that they've made the work environment like this, to where we're afraid to agree to any "temporary change to help out" because so many of us have been lied to and never allowed to change back, etc.

TSM, who is also very nice..and she has accommodated me several times. Ask nicely first. If your not happy, and I wouldn't be, that would be the final kick in the butt that made me go on the job hunt
