Hello,
One of my friends here at MQ was just put back on 100% QA after one bad audit. Now, due to First Time Right, she will be making 3 cpl less for ALL HER LINES since it all is going to QA - except for that 10% allowance that she has.
This is just SO not right!!! How is anyone supposed to live on a pay cut like that? For 8-9 cpl, it's a 30% pay cut!
Is this reportable to anyone? (If anyone would care...) What can we do about this - besides quit?
She checked with her QA person today who verified it (and the QA person had checked with her CCM). Maybe I'll ask my CCM to see what she says. But per MQCentral in the First Time Right FAQs...
Q7: Will 100% QA rules applied for performance issues and/or for newly trained on ASR impact the QA submission rate for the MTs? A: No MT will be placed on a QA rule due to being newly trained on ASR. However, reports routed to QA due to an MT rule of 100% QA will be counted toward the QA submission rate for an MT.
I don't think she will go to the lawyer because she's so scared right now of making waves and losing her job. But unfortunately, I don't know what else to tell her....I wonder if there are state laws about this sort of thing? I tried looking on my state's Dept of Labor website, but all I could find were ethics for public officials....I'm not sure where else to look. And my CCM hasn't answered me back yet... Hmm....
...or will I just get the corporate runaround? I tried calling it yesterday, but you can't get a live person - you have to leave a message. You don't have to leave your name or anything, but all calls are recorded. I just hung up!
MMEs make 3 cpl to review reports....that means that the 3 cpl pay cut that the MTs are taking to send stuff to QA is going to pay the MME! That is not even right... The MTs are paying the MMEs to fill in their blanks, or to do their reviews if on 100%. This sucks....
